These terms cover the supply of vapour blast, soda blast, ultrasonic and other parts-cleaning services by Black Diamond Garage Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number REPLACE_ME), to you, our customer. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on our website are starting prices and may vary depending on the size, quantity and condition of the parts to be cleaned. We will give you a written quote before any work begins. Once you accept a quote it forms a contract between us. If the parts, on inspection at our workshop, differ materially from what was described, we may revise the quote and you may accept the revision or ask for the parts to be returned to you without charge.

3. Bookings, cancellations and rescheduling

Bookings are confirmed once we send you a booking confirmation. If you need to cancel or reschedule we ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge of up to 50% of the booked price to cover lost slot costs.

4. Payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. We accept bank transfer, card and cash. Invoices issued must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Late payment may incur interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

5. Our obligations

We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We use processes and media chosen to suit the parts you have given us. If you are not happy with the result, tell us straight away so we can put it right.

6. Your obligations

Before sending or dropping off parts, please let us know in writing about any pre-existing damage, corrosion, sensitive coatings, fitted bearings or seals that must not be damaged, fragile castings, or any mating faces or threads we should mask. We can only protect what we have been told about. Parts must be reasonably free of oil and fuel before delivery; if a heavy degrease is required we will quote separately for it.

7. Limitations of liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any one job is limited to the price paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or business losses including loss of project deadlines.

8. Pre-existing condition and consumables

We photograph parts on arrival to document their condition. Any pre-existing corrosion pitting, cracks, casting flaws, stripped threads or worn surfaces will still be present after cleaning and are not our responsibility. Bearings, seals and any rubber or plastic items should be removed before the parts are sent in; if left in place we will treat them as consumables and they may be destroyed by the cleaning process.

9. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and any other applicable law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in effect at the time you accept your quote.
