What's involved
Vapour blasting (also known as wet blasting or aqua blasting) uses fine glass-bead media suspended in water to clean parts without the heat damage or pitting you get from dry blasting. It is the ideal process for alloy engine cases, cylinder heads, carburettors, motorcycle parts, brake calipers and other delicate castings. The water flow means no media gets trapped in oil galleries or threads, and the resulting finish is uniform, slightly satin and ready for assembly, paint or powder coat.
